High-pressure gauges up to 3000 bar

Most gauge makers stop well below this range. We make gauges for pressures up to 3000 bar, with world-class accuracy.

What it is

We are among the few manufacturers in India that can supply pressure gauges up to 3000 bar with world-class accuracy. Hydraulic test rigs, high-pressure pumps and laboratories depend on a reading they can trust at the top of the range.

Tell us the range, the medium and the connection, and we will quote the right gauge.

How it works

At these pressures the sensing element, the connection and the case all have to be built for the load. High-pressure gauges use a heavy-duty sensing element and a solid-front safety case, with a solid wall behind the dial and a blow-out back. If the element ever fails, the pressure vents to the rear and away from the person reading the gauge.

Where it is used

  • Hydrostatic and pressure test rigs
  • High-pressure pumps and intensifiers
  • Hydraulic presses and tooling
  • Water-jet cutting and cleaning
  • Research and test laboratories
  • Master gauges for checking other gauges

Things to consider

  • Choose a full scale well above the working pressure: about 75% of full scale for steady pressure, lower for fluctuating pressure.
  • Fit isolating valves, fittings and tubing rated for the same pressure as the gauge.
  • Leave clear space behind the gauge so the blow-out back can vent safely.
  • Tell us the medium (oil, water or gas) and the temperature, because they affect the materials and the fill.

What to tell us for a quote

  • Gauge type and dial size
  • Pressure range and unit (bar, kg/cm², psi, kPa)
  • Connection type and size
  • Material of the wetted parts (CS, SS or SS 316)
  • The medium and its working temperature
  • Quantity and any special need

Questions about high-pressure gauges

What is the highest pressure you can supply?

We make gauges for pressures up to 3000 bar. Send us your range, medium and connection and we will confirm the right model.

Why do high-pressure gauges have a blow-out back?

The blow-out back is a weak section at the rear of the case. If the sensing element fails, the pressure vents there instead of through the glass, which protects the person reading the gauge.

What accuracy can I get?

Accuracy depends on the gauge class and range. Tell us the accuracy you need and we will confirm what we can supply.
