Pressure gauges, made in Mumbai since 1994

Gauges from very low pressure up to 3000 bar, with the snubbers, manifolds and valves that go with them. Tell us the pressure range and the medium, and we will quote the right gauge.

Gauges for pressures few can reach

We are among the few manufacturers in India that can supply pressure gauges up to 3000 bar with world-class accuracy. For hydraulic test rigs, high-pressure pumps and laboratories that need a reading they can trust.

One supplier for the gauge and everything around it

Tirupati Industries was set up in 1994 to supply reliable pressure and temperature gauges. We still work from Dahisar, Mumbai, and still quote by phone or in writing.

About us

Very high pressure, handled
Gauges up to 3000 bar, built with a safety-pattern case and made to hold their accuracy.
Gauge and accessories together
Order the gauge with its snubber, siphon, cock, needle valve or manifold, so the parts fit and arrive together.
Materials to suit the process
Available in carbon steel, stainless steel and SS 316, so the wetted parts match your medium.
A direct line to the maker
Call or message us with your range, connection and medium. You speak to the people who make the gauges.

Questions we hear often

What is a diaphragm pressure gauge used for?

A diaphragm pressure gauge senses pressure through a thin flexible diaphragm instead of a Bourdon tube. It suits low pressures and viscous, corrosive or crystallising media that could clog or damage a standard gauge.

What is the difference between a capsule gauge and a Bourdon tube gauge?

A Bourdon tube gauge measures medium to high pressures with a curved tube that straightens under pressure. A capsule gauge uses two thin discs welded together and is made for very low pressures, such as air and non-corrosive gases.

Why choose a glycerine-filled pressure gauge?

The glycerine fill damps the needle and lubricates the movement, so the gauge reads steadily and lasts longer where there is vibration or pulsating pressure.

What does a snubber do?

A snubber, also called a pulsation damper, restricts sudden pressure surges before they reach the gauge. It protects the gauge and gives a steadier reading.

What does a siphon tube do?

A siphon, or pigtail, holds a small amount of condensed water that cools the steam before it reaches the gauge, so hot steam cannot damage the sensing element.
